Abstract

 本発明に係る欠陥検知システム(10)は、検知対象である構造体(2)の表面に形成した発光膜(1)の発光を検出することによって、欠陥の有無を検知する。発光膜(1)は、発光粒子(1a)を含有している。欠陥が在る構造体(2)に歪みの変化が生じると、欠陥周辺に応力集中が起きて歪み、該表面の発光膜も歪む。その歪みエネルギーが発光粒子に伝播して発光するので、目視できない欠陥を、発光という形で構造体外部に示すことができる。これにより、構造体の欠陥の有無を、構造体を破壊することなく簡便且つ正確に検知することができる欠陥検知方法及びシステムを提供する。
