Abstract

 光学素子150A(150B)は、第1液体162と、第1液体162と異なる第2液体163とを備えて容器152内に封入し、当該容器152内に印可する電圧を変化させることで、第1液体162と第2液体163との境界面形状(164)を変化させることが可能な液体レンズ161を有して構成される。さらに、液体レンズ161の温度を変更可能なヒーター171と、ヒーター171を利用して液体レンズ161の温度を制御するサーモスタット172とを設け、容器152の外部の環境変化(温度変化)による液体レンズ161への影響を低減するようにしている。
