Abstract
An optical element (150A(150B))is provided with a liquid lens (161). The liquid lens is provided with a first liquid (162) and a second liquid (163) different from the first liquid (162), is sealed in a container (152), and changes a boundary surface shape (164) between the first liquid (162) and the second liquid (163) by changing a voltage applied into the container (152). Furthermore, the optical element is provided with a heater (171) which can change the temperature of the liquid lens (161), and a thermostat (172) for controlling the temperature of the liquid lens (161) by using the heater (171). Thus, influence on the liquid lens (161) due to environmental change (temperature change) outside the container (152) is reduced.
