Abstract
L'invention concerne un ensemble joint d'étanchéité à insérer le long d'un bord d'ouverture dans le domaine automobile, constitué d'une partie d'étanchéité (2) du genre profilé creux, sur un tronçon (2') de laquelle est installée une barrette d'enclenchement (8) qui est elle-même destinée à l'enclenchement sur une partie de cadre (4) d'un élément de carrosserie. Par le fait que le tronçon (2') est réalisé en un matériau qui est certes plus dur que celui du reste de la partie d'étanchéité (2), mais plus mou que celui de la barrette d'enclenchement (8), on obtient entre ces éléments un assemblage fiable, adapté aux élasticités différentes des matériaux adjacents. Une application sur une grande surface est assurée entre la barrette d'enclenchement (8) et la partie de cadre (4) ; cette application est formée par des parties de surface de la partie de cadre (4), de la barrette d'enclenchement (8) et du tronçon (2') qui sont parallèles entre elles et qui s'étendent sur toute la largeur de la partie de fixation (3). On obtient ainsi une fixation fiable, évitant les concentrations locales de contraintes.
