Abstract

無線端末装置が接続先の無線基地局装置を検索する際に、無線基地局装置との接続の可能性または必要性が高い場合には接続遅延の増大を抑え、無線基地局装置との接続の可能性または必要性が低い場合には無用な検索処理による電力消費を低減する。 　無線基地局装置との接続が切断した無線端末装置が次の接続先の無線基地局装置を所定の検索間隔で検索する無線基地局装置の検索方法において、無線端末装置は、切断の直前に接続していた無線基地局装置の情報または当該無線端末装置の情報に基づき、次の接続先の無線基地局装置との接続の可能性または必要性が高いと推定される場合に検索間隔を短く設定し、その接続の可能性または必要性が低いと推定される場合に検索間隔を長く設定する。
