Abstract

　異なるサービスエリア間を移動する際に、無駄な電力を消費することなく迅速に移動先サービスエリアのアクセスポイントに接続する無線通信装置。この装置では、状態変化検出部(203)が、接続中のアクセスポイントからの受信電波強度が閾値以下になったことを検出すると、サービスエリア情報取得部（204）は、現在位置するサービスエリア及び近隣のサービスエリア情報を取得する。サービスエリア情報に対応するプロファイル情報がプロファイル情報取得部(206)により取得され、取得されたプロファイル情報に、接続中のアクセスポイントが形成するサービスエリアに隣接するサービスエリアのアクセスポイントを接続先の最優先となるように優先順位設定部(211)が優先順位の設定を行う。これら優先順位付けされたプロファイル情報に基づいて、アクセスポイントへ接続要求を行う。
