Abstract

 積層セラミックコンデンサに用いられる誘電体セラミック材料であって、1.25kV/mm程度のDCバイアスが印加されても、高い誘電率を示す誘電体セラミックを提供する。チタン酸バリウム系化合物を主成分とし、副成分としてR1(R1はLa、Nd、Sm、Gd、Dyから選ばれる少なくとも1種)、およびR2(R2はY、Ho、Er、Ybから選ばれる少なくとも1種)を含む組成を有する誘電体セラミックにおいて、上記の主成分100モル部に対するR1の総含有量をαモル部、R2の総含有量をβモル部とするとき、上記の結晶粒子の断面を観察したとき、結晶粒子の表面から結晶粒子内部に向かって10nm以上離れた点におけるR1の濃度がα/2以上、R2の濃度がβ/5未満(0を含む)である結晶粒子が全体の60%以上である。
