Abstract

La présente invention concerne un écran d'affichage à plasma (1) qui comprend des électrodes d'affichage (X, Y) qui sont mises en réseau à des intervalles réguliers et qui s'étendent le long d'une première direction. Chacune des électrodes d'affichage est connectée à deux parties de bande qui s'étendent dans la première direction sur la longueur entière d'une région d'affichage à matrice et deux parties de bande qui recouvrent partiellement chacun des espaces de décharge en forme de bande (31), et est formée comme une échelle composée de parties de barre, la dimension de la première direction étant inférieure aux largeurs (W3) des espaces de décharge en forme de bande (31). Les électrodes d'affichage (X, Y) possèdent en outre des sections de guidage de décharge (80) chacune formées dans des positions qui sont dans le voisinage des deux extrémités d'une seconde direction et dans lesquelles les espaces de décharge en forme de bande (31) sont recouverts. Les sections de guidage de décharge (80) possèdent une structure empilée dans laquelle des conducteurs supérieurs (142, 152), dont la dimension de la première direction est inférieure aux parties de barre, chevauchent des conducteurs inférieurs (132) et les conducteurs inférieurs font saillie des deux côtés de la première direction des conducteurs supérieurs.
