Abstract

セル壁（２７）によってハニカム形状に区画された複数のセル（２８）を有する柱状のハニカム構造体（２３）と、セル（２８）のいずれか一方の開口端部を封止する封止体（３０）とを備えてなるハニカムフィルタ（２１）を構成した。このハニカムフィルタにおいて、封止体（３０）が、セル壁（２７）近傍の周辺領域を占有するクラッド（３０ａ）とセル（２８）の中心軸線（Ｘ）近傍の中心領域を占有するコア（３０ｂ）とから構成された２重構造を有し、クラッド（３０ａ）とコア（３０ｂ）のヤング率が相違する。
