Abstract

本発明は、再生処理時において、ハニカム焼成体や接着剤層でのクラック、剥がれ等の発生を回避することができるハニカム構造体を提供することを目的とするものであり、本発明のハニカム構造体は、多数のセルがセル壁を隔てて長手方向に並設された柱状のハニカム焼成体が、接着剤層を介して複数個結束されてなるハニカム構造体であって、上記接着剤層の上記ハニカム構造体における一方の端面側には触媒担持層が含まれており、他方の端面側には触媒担持層が含まれていないことを特徴とする。
