Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an emergency call switch for a hazard detection system with an adjustable between a rest position and an alarm position or fragile trigger element for the operation of an alarm triggering switch, the trigger element carries an alarm indicator or is connected to such.
  • the trigger element is pivoted by a relatively small angle upon actuation of the emergency call switch, whereby on the one hand released the switch and on the other hand, not visible in the rest position alarm indicator is pivoted into the viewing window of the emergency call. Because of the relatively small pivoting angle of the triggering element in the operation of the emergency call switch, the alarm display formed by a title block is relatively small and therefore not easily recognizable. In addition, it can not be ruled out that the triggering element canted during its pivoting, which means a certain susceptibility to failure of this emergency call switch.
  • a first preferred embodiment of the emergency call switch according to the invention is characterized in that the front element is made opaque with the exception of at least one transparent area.
