Abstract
標的DNAと蛍光標識したプローブとのハイブリダイゼーションにより蛍光共鳴エネルギー遷移現象に変化を生ずる反応を用いて標的核酸配列を蛍光検出を利用して検出する手法、すなわちサイクリング・プローブ法に代表される手法によって、簡易な構成でありながら、標識となる蛍光強度の測定を高感度・高精度に実現することができる蛍光検出装置、マイクロチップ、及びそれらから構成される蛍光検出装置を提供することを目的とする。
そのためには、標的DNAと蛍光標識したプローブとのハイブリダイゼーションにより蛍光共鳴エネルギー遷移現象に変化を生ずる反応を用いて標的核酸配列を検出する蛍光検出装置であって、蛍光発光をさせるための励起光の光源部と励起により発生する蛍光の検出部とを有し、該励起光の発光スペクトルの極大発光波長より長波長側部分が該蛍光の発光スペクトルと少なくとも部分的に重なることを特徴とする蛍光検出装置とする。
