- Compressors of this type have, in a known manner, a cylinder with a cylinder housing and a piston guided in the piston bore of the cylinder for compressing a working medium, the cylinder being closed off with a cylinder head. Screw connections are usually used to attach the cylinder head to the cylinder housing.
- the force application of the fastening means for the cylinder head to the cylinder housing is to be carried out in such a way that it is carried out particularly in those areas of the cylinder head in which the greatest loads are caused by the piston force in order to minimally load the cylinder head.
- Claim 1 provides that a fastening element is provided which fastens the cylinder head to the cylinder housing by a contact pressure exerted in the region of the axis of the piston bore.
- this is a clamp that the cylinder head on Cylinder housing attached.
- the clamp has a base part and side parts, the base part being arranged in the axial direction in front of the cylinder head, and with the aid of the base part a contact pressure being exerted on the cylinder head: in the axial direction, and the side parts being firmly anchored relative to the cylinder housing.
- the base part of the clamp will expediently be chosen so wide that it fixes the cylinder head to the cylinder housing with an even contact pressure.
- Claim 4 provides a particular embodiment requires that the side parts are constructed as laterally projecting, resilient legs with an essentially L-förmic j bent end portions, wherein the Basisteil- abuts the cylinder head and the anchoring of the side portions relative to the cylinder housing via a latching deir end portions of the resilient leg takes place.
- the clamp is essentially U-shaped, but it would also be conceivable to provide several legs.
- the base part is curved in the direction of the legs, whereby the pressure resistance of the base part is increased.
- the locking can be realized in different ways. According to claim 7, the locking takes place with the aid of bearing blocks firmly connected to a support part of the compressor, the bearing blocks each having at least one edge which is at least partially encompassed by the end regions of the legs.
- the clamp encompasses the entire cylinder housing, the cylinder housing having edges which are at least partially encompassed by the end regions of the legs.
- bearing blocks can thus be dispensed with.
- the latching formed by means of grooves in the cylinder housing, in each of which an end region of the legs engages.
- the base part of the clamp does not necessarily have to lie directly on the cylinder head.
- the base part guides a pressure screw, which exerts a pressure on the cylinder head in the axial direction.
- the base part rests directly on the cylinder head and the side parts are anchored to bearing blocks which are fixedly connected to a support part of the compressor, at least one of the side parts being designed as a screw connection between the base part and the bearing block.
- a variable contact pressure of the cylinder head on the cylinder housing can be achieved by changing the tightening of the screw.
- Claim 12 provides an alternative embodiment of the fastening element according to the invention, in which the fastening element is designed as a clamping bracket.
- the fastening element is in turn designed as a fastening element which exerts a tensile force and which rests on the cylinder head and is fixed relative to the cylinder housing.

- Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a first embodiment of the relative arrangement of cylinder head 1, cylinder housing 4 and the fastening element according to the invention, which is designed as a clamp 2.
- the individual components are only shown schematically, so the cylinder head 1 will generally be designed as an assembly, which in particular contains a valve plate (not shown in FIGS. 1 to 9 and 14 to 22).
- a valve plate not shown in FIGS. 1 to 9 and 14 to 22
- Such an assembly is also encompassed in the following by the designation “cylinder head 1”.
- the cylinder head 1 has an end face 10 as a contact surface to the cylinder housing 4 or to the valve plate 16 and a contact surface 11 as a contact surface to the base part 5 of the clamp 2.
- a piston (not shown in FIGS.
- Such webs 21 can, however, also be provided if the cylinder head 1 rests on the valve plate 16, as can be seen, for example, from FIG. 13. It is noted here that the valve plate 16 in FIGS. 1 to 9 and 14 to 22 is not immediately apparent, but is of course provided. According to the representations in FIGS. 1 to 9 and 14 to 22, it is completely encompassed by the cylinder head 1, so that it is not visible in these representations.
- Valve plate 16 can be seen. The shape and centering of the
- Valve plate 16 in the cylinder housing 4 will be described later, however, first the fixing of the valve plate 16 relative to the cylinder housing will be described in more detail using the clamp 2.
- the cylinder head 1 is fixed relative to the cylinder housing 4, for example by means of a clamp 2.
- the clamp 2 has a base part 5 and resilient legs 6 projecting laterally, the base part 5 being arched in the direction of the legs 6 according to a preferred embodiment is executed. This increases the bending stiffness and thus the compressive strength of the base part 5.
- the base part 5 is aligned with respect to the cylinder head 1 in such a way that the curvature of the base part 5 lies against the cylinder head 1 with its convex side.
- the base part 5 of the terminal 2 is appropriately chosen so wide that it fixed the cylinder head 1 to the cylinder housing 4 with even contact pressure.
- the clamp 2 has two legs 6 and is thus essentially U-shaped. It would also be conceivable that the clamp 2 has several legs 6.
- the legs 6 are preferably designed such that they are suitable for latching. In the embodiment of the compressor according to the invention, this is achieved in that the end regions 7 of the legs 6 are essentially L-shaped, as will be explained in greater detail.
- bearing blocks 3 are provided, the bearing blocks 3 each having at least one edge 12 which are at least partially encompassed by the end regions 7 of the legs 6, so that the clamp 2 hooks onto the bearing blocks 3 and thus a catch is formed, which ensures secure anchoring of the side parts 6.
- the type of latching can be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 2.
- the bearing blocks 3 can be formed approximately on the cylinder housing 4, but they can also be designed as separate components, as is indicated in FIG. 1.
- the bearing blocks 3 are not attached to the cylinder housing 4, but to a support part 9, which is part of the compressor and is in any case designed so that a reliable locking of the terminal 2 and thus a secure fixation of the cylinder head 1 relative to the cylinder housing 4 is ensured.
- the use of bearing blocks 3 also decouples the force introduction for fixing the cylinder head 1 relative to the cylinder housing 4 from the piston bore.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 Another embodiment of the latching is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. This is to form a latch provided that the clamp 2 encompasses the entire cylinder housing 4, the cylinder housing 4 having edges 13 which are at least partially encompassed by the end regions 7 of the legs 6.
- the use of bearing blocks 3 can be dispensed with.
- the type of latching in the context of this embodiment can be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 4. Secure anchoring of the side parts 6 is also ensured in this way.
- the latching is formed here with the aid of grooves 8 in the cylinder housing 4, in each of which an end region 7 of the legs 6 engages. 15, where the side parts 6 are integrally formed on the cylinder housing 4 and form an opening in the region of the axis of the piston bore.
- the base part 5 can be inserted into this opening, for example with the aid of a tongue and groove system, the base part 5 being designed as a rigid element.
- FIG. 7 shows an embodiment of a clamp 2, in which the base part 5 does not rest directly on the cylinder head 1, but a pressure screw 14 is provided for the axial introduction of force.
- the pressure screw 14 is guided by the base part 5, the base part 5 being equipped with a corresponding counter thread in the guide area. Tightening the contact screw 14 thus creates an increasing contact pressure of the cylinder head 1 on the cylinder housing 4 due to the secure anchoring of the side parts 6 of the clamp 2.
- the contact pressure can be varied.
- the clamp 2 is not U-shaped, but rather can be V-shaped.
- 16 shows a similar embodiment, in which, however, the base part 5 of the clamp 2 lies directly on the cylinder head 1.
- FIG. 7 is also shown in FIG. 8, the only difference being the type of anchoring of the side parts 6 on the bearing blocks 3.
- the bearing blocks 3 each have slots that cross the respective bearing block 3 and serve to receive a side part 6.
- the anchoring of the side parts 6 can in turn be improved by means of L-shaped bent end regions 7 of the side parts 6.
- FIG. 18 Another embodiment of the fastening element according to the invention is shown in FIG. 18. Here the side parts 6 of the clamp 2 are fastened directly to the bearing blocks 3 by screws 28.
- FIG. 9 shows a perspective illustration of a further embodiment of the relative arrangement of cylinder head 1, cylinder housing 4 and the clamp 2 according to the invention, in which the base part 5 of the clamp 2 lies directly on the cylinder head 1.
- a side part 6 is designed as a screw connection 15 between the base part 5 and a bearing block 3, as a result of which a variable contact pressure of the cylinder head 1 on the cylinder housing 4 can be achieved.
- hook-like connections can also be provided, as is shown, for example, in FIG. 17.
- the connection is provided by retaining pins 26 with end heads 27 which hook on one side into a slot crossing the bearing block 3 and on the other side into a corresponding slot in the side part 6 of the terminal 2.
- FIGS. 14, 19, 21 and 22 A further embodiment of the fastening element according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 14, 19, 21 and 22.
- the fastening element is designed here as a clamping bracket 24, which is on one side in a on the bearing block 3rd arranged bearing 29 engages and on the other side is acted upon by a train connection.
- Fig. 19 it can be clearly seen, for example, how the end region of a
- Side part 6 is T-shaped and engages in a bearing 29.
- the other side part 6 is on the second
- Fastening of the second side part 6 also take place via a somewhat modified retaining pin 26, in which one end region has a transverse bolt 30 which is mounted in a correspondingly concave end region 31 of a side part 6 of the clamp 2.
- 22 finally shows an embodiment of a tensioning bracket 24, in which a tensioning element 32 has a correspondingly concave end region 31
- FIG. 20 shows an embodiment of the fastening element according to the invention, in which it is designed as a flexurally elastic fastening element 25, for example as a rope or wire 25.
- the rope or wire 25 is clamped between the bearing blocks 3, and for better guidance of the rope or wire 25, the cylinder head 1 can be equipped with a groove 33 diametrically crossing it, in which the rope or wire 25 is inserted.
- the rope 25 can be a steel rope 25, for example.
- valve plate 16 (not shown in FIGS. 1 to 9 and 14 to 22) is generally part of the assembly referred to here as cylinder head 1 and is usually fastened to the cylinder housing 4 by means of screw connections.
- the end face 10 of the cylinder head 1 engages around this valve plate 16 or lies against the valve plate 16.
- Cylinder housing 4 is dispensed with screw connections, it is advantageous to also use the valve plate 16 without
- Valve plate 16 have a radial notch into which a radially projecting extension of the cylinder housing 4 engages.
- a rotation of the valve plate 16 in the step-shaped bore 17 during the operation of the compressor can also be prevented without such an extension 18 or without a notch.
- the cylinder head 1 can also have a recess 22, for example for receiving a suction muffler (not shown in FIG. 11).
- the suction muffler arranged here can now be shaped such that it partially engages in a bore 20 in the valve plate 16, so that rotation of the valve plate 16 is again prevented.
- 11 also shows sealing rings 23.
- FIG. 12 shows a sectional drawing of the arrangement of the cylinder housing 4, valve plate 16 and the cylinder head 1 according to the embodiment of FIG. 10.
- the end face 10 of the cylinder head 1 lies against the valve plate 16 and also in the stepped bore 17 is partially sunk.
- 13 shows a sectional drawing of the arrangement of cylinder housing 4, valve plate 16 and cylinder head 1 according to FIG Embodiment of FIG. 11, wherein it can be seen in particular that the cylinder head 1 can have webs 21 which provide additional contact pressure of the cylinder head 1 against the valve plate 16.
- FIG. 23 shows a perspective illustration of a further embodiment of the relative arrangement of cylinder head 1, valve plate 16 and cylinder housing 4, in which a locking body 34 is provided.
- the valve plate 16 and the cylinder housing 4 each have a radial notch 35, 36, into which a locking body 34 can be inserted when the notch 35 of the valve plate 16 is radially aligned with the notch 36 of the cylinder housing 4.
- the locking body is shown in FIG. 23 as an elongated, rod-shaped element 34, but other embodiments are also conceivable, provided they prevent the valve plate 16 or the cylinder head 1 from rotating in the cylinder housing 4.
- the cylinder head 1 can also have a radial notch 37, into which the locking body 34 can be inserted when the notch 35 of the valve plate 16 is overlapping with the notch 37 of the cylinder head 1.
- the force application or the contact pressure of the fastening element 2, 24, 25 according to the invention for the cylinder head 1 on the cylinder housing 4 is accomplished in each of these exemplary embodiments in such a way that it is carried out particularly in those areas of the cylinder head 1 in which the greatest loads are caused by the piston force occur, i.e. in the area of the axis of the piston bore. How this contact pressure of the fastening element 2, 24, 25 is generated by its different components is shown in FIGS. 14 to 22 by the illustrated force vectors illustrated. The one through that
- the contact pressure exerted on the piston bore preferably corresponds to an axial contact force of 1000 N to 10000 N, preferably 3000 N.
- the cylinder head 1 can be fixed on the cylinder housing 4 without impairing the cylindrical shape of the cylinder. Furthermore, assembly and material costs are reduced, since the use of screws can be dispensed with. This ensures that the cylinder head 1 can be easily centered relative to the cylinder housing 4 and enables a uniform contact pressure of the cylinder head 1 on the cylinder housing 4 and a reduction in the sealing surface 10. Furthermore, the force application of the fastening element for the cylinder head 1 to the cylinder housing 4 is accomplished in such a way that it is carried out particularly in those areas of the cylinder head 1 in which the greatest loads occur due to the piston force. This protects the cylinder head 1 as well as possible and it can also be made smaller. The attachment of the cylinder head 1 to the cylinder housing 4 is also easily detachable, but still ensures a secure closure of the cylinder.
