Definitions

  • the invention relates to an auxiliary device for the boarding of a person who is drawn to the outside of a ship in a rescue device, the rescue device for the person floating in the water consisting of two loops coupled to a rescue line, a swimming loop and a sinking loop for which the swimming loop has sufficient buoyancy for a person surrounded by the swimming loop and the sinking loop has sufficient circumference for the lower thigh or knee area of this person surrounded by the swimming loop, the loops being elongated but U-shaped bodies attached to theirs Ends are connected to the mountain line.
  • Such a rescue device has been developed by Prof. M.Schwindt and has become known from DE 100 37 868.4.
  • This rescue device has proven itself extremely well in practical use.
