Abstract

The invention concerns a turbulence device for multiple continuous yarns. Said device comprises a channel (4) for guiding the yarn whereat abuts, on the side at least, a blower nozzle (5) for blowing compressed air. The swirling yarn is guided in the channel such that it touches the channel wall before and after the abutting zone of the blower nozzle (5) and extends, upstream and downstream, at some distance from the channel wall. The invention is characterized in that in order to enhance the reproducible results of the turbulence, the wall channel is provided with protuberances (6a, 6b) at the abutting zone of the blower nozzle (5), in particular before and after the blower nozzle (5), viewed in the forward moving direction of the yarn. Said protuberances project slightly in the channel cross-section and guide the swirling yarn before and after the blower nozzle (5) at a short distance from the channel wall.
