Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verwirbeln von Multi-Filamentgarnen, mit einem der Garnführung dienenden Kanal (4), in den seitlich mindestens eine Blasdüse (5) für das Einblasen von Druckluft einmündet und durch den das verwinbelnde Garn derart hindurchgeführt ist, dass es die Kanalwand vor und hinter dem Einmündungsbereich der Blasdüse (5) berührt und vor und hinter mit Abstand zur Kanalwand verläuft. Um besser reproduzierbare Verwirbelungsergebnisse zu erzielen schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass die Kanalwand and der Einmündungsseite der Blasdüse (5) und in Durchlaufrichtung des Garnes gesehen vor und hinter der Blasdüse (5) mit geringfügig in den Kanalquerschnitt vorstehenden Vorsprüngen (6a, 6b) versehen ist, die das zu verwirbelnde Garn vor und hinter der Blasdüse (5) mit engem Abstand zur Kanalwand führen.
