Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method and a device for treating wound material with a fluid, as well as a fluid dispensing device for such a method and such a device.
The moisture content of material to be wound, in particular textile threads or yarns, influences various physical and chemical properties of the material to be wound, such as, for example, the electrostatic behavior, the fiber flying behavior or the running behavior over edges and deflections during further processing, particularly in weaving mills and embroidery or the like. It has been shown that different moisture contents are desirable or desirable for different materials in order to create particularly suitable properties for further processing. Accordingly, yarn or thread-like winding material is usually provided with a material-dependent moisture content, which is 8.5 percent by weight for cotton and 16.5 percent by weight for wool and is also referred to as commercial moisture.
In order to achieve this moisture content in the winding material, it has been proposed to treat the winding material with steam in order, for. B. also reduce or eliminate the so-called curl tendency caused by the spinning process.
In a known method, wool or cotton threads are wound up and then hung up for several days in a room which has a high level of humidity.
Ferner besteht die Gefahr, daß sich Kondensat und damit lokale Übernässungen bilden.DE 38 28 630 AI describes various disadvantages of this method and suggests combining several cross-wound bobbins into columns and then steaming them radially from the inside to the outside. For this purpose, perforated coil sleeves are introduced into the column space before steam pressure is passed into the sleeve interior. In this method, the moisture in the axial and radial directions of the coil is supplied to the winding material unevenly. As a result, the moisture in the winding material is distributed inhomogeneously. There is also a risk that condensate and thus local overwetting will form.
Ferner ist auch nicht eine homogene Verteilung der Feuchtigkeit im Wikkelgut gewährleistet.DE 43 17 486 AI describes a method in which yarn wound into cops is introduced after the winding process into a steam chamber, in which these cops are steamed and additionally heated with a fluid in order to reduce the formation of condensate. Measured in terms of the achievable results, this process requires a high level of control and regulation. The formation of condensate and local overwetting can, however, only be insufficiently reduced. The process also requires long throughput and changeover times. It can also have an unfavorable effect that the moisture content within the steam chamber usually deviates from the moisture content outside the steam chamber. When stirring or removing cops into or out of the steam chamber, moisture exchange takes place between the interior of the chamber and the surroundings, at least when the chamber gates are open. This effect is insufficiently considered. Furthermore, a homogeneous distribution of moisture in the winding material is not guaranteed.
Changierdreiecks entlangstreift, wodurch Avivage an den über den porösen Körper streifenden Faden abgegeben wird.DE-PS 25 13 306 describes a device on twisting or dishwashing machines for finishing the threads on their way from the supply spool to the take-up spool. This device has an upstream of the take-up reel, extending along the machine storage tube for finishing. The storage roll is provided in the area of each winding unit with a porous body with capillary action, which has approaches which are immersed in the aviva liquid located in the storage space, and along which the thread to be wound grazes in the area of the so-called traversing triangle, whereby avivage on the thread grazing over the porous body is delivered.

The fluid provided for yarn or thread treatment can in itself be any fluid and should preferably be suitable for moistening and / or for heating and / or drying the winding material. Dry air can also be used as the fluid, for example in order to reduce the moisture content in the thread-like or yarn-shaped winding material if the thread or yarn moisture is above a predetermined target value. The fluid application is preferably carried out along a surface line of the take-up spool, essentially by means of a stationary device which contains at least one or more fluid discharge openings arranged next to one another in the region of a surface line of the take-up spool, for example in the form of nozzles or in the form of a slot nozzle.
