Abstract

La présente invention concerne un manchon à instrument permettant de réaliser des opérations chirurgicales à effraction minimale. Ce manchon à instrument est constitué d'un élément d'adaptation (1) situé à l'extrémité proximale et d'un manchon (4) dont la paroi présente un pliage dans la direction longitudinale, ce qui permet de réduire le diamètre du manchon. Après introduction du manchon à instrument qui entoure l'aiguille de Veress avec le plus petit diamètre extérieur possible, cette aiguille de Veress est retirée, puis le manchon est déployé au diamètre souhaité, à l'aide d'un trocart de dilatation. La paroi du manchon est imperméable à l'eau et aux gaz et présente une faible résistance au frottement de glissement entre sa surface, le tissu corporel et le matériau du manchon du trocart de dilatation.
