Abstract

Dans la cuisson de cellulose, la détermination du point final du temps de cuisson est fondamental pour la qualité du produit et/ou les rendements que l'on peut obtenir. Selon l'invention, pendant la cuisson, on mesure in situ le pH et éventuellement la teinte de l'acide de cuisson. Ce procédé s'applique aussi bien aux cuiseurs fonctionnant en continu qu'à ceux qui fonctionnent en discontinu. Un dispositif de mise en ÷uvre dudit procédé, avec des détecteurs appropriés permettant de mesurer le pH en ligne, comprend une unité d'évaluation comportant un ordinateur (70) qui détermine le temps de cuisson d'après les valeurs mesurées et leur variation dans le temps.
