Abstract

On décrit une cassette d'expression de gènes de plantes pouvant être induite chimiquement, qui comprend un premier promoteur lié de manière fonctionnelle à une séquence de régulation, laquelle est dérivée du gène alcR et code une protéine régulatrice, ainsi qu'un promoteur pouvant être induit et qui est lié de manière fonctionnelle à un gène cible codant une protéine, laquelle est préjudiciable aux insectes, ou dont l'expression induit un processus métabolique produisant un métabolite, lequel est préjudiciable aux insectes. Le promoteur pouvant être induit est activé par la protéine régulatrice en présence d'un inducteur exogène efficace, une application de cet inducteur provoquant l'expression du gène cible.
