  • the present invention relates to a method for level dyeing of textile material from cellulose fibers by treatment with aqueous liquors
  • Leukoküpenester dyes using the pull-out dyeing technique and subsequent treatment of the leuco compounds so applied to the goods and fixed there with oxidizing agents for dye development.
  • Vat dyes using the typical application method i.e. Application of the dye previously coupled with the aid of alkali and reducing agent and only dissolved in this state together with subsequent development on the substrate by reoxidation, on certain goods, such as yarn or tricot made of cellulose fibers. Due to the high substantivity to fibers in the reduced form of vat dyes, especially ercerized material can hardly be colored in this way. On the other hand, due to their chemical nature, leuco vat ester dyes, which are inherently leveling and are particularly suitable for light shades, enable perfect results to be obtained in many cases with the same fastness standard on cellulose fiber material.
  • Dialkylnaphthalene sulfonates in particular, have been found to be an antagonist of the aforementioned alkylaryl polyglycol ethers
  • Diisobutylnaphthalene sulfonate proven. The latter is added in portions to the dyebath to reduce the retarding effect of the alkylaryl polyglycol ethers. Although the measures described succeed in temporarily greatly reducing the substantivity of the leucocubes dyes, so that perfect coloring results can be achieved, this beneficial method in turn stands up to the high ones
