Abstract

Dans le corps du mandrin (1) est disposé un système d'entraînement des mâchoires de serrage qui est composé de 2, 3, 4, 5 tiges filetées ou plus, ces tiges étant entraînées par une transmission à vis sans fin et par une chaîne ou courroie dentée (5) entraînée par un moteur électrique (4) et qui agit simultanément sur toutes les transmissions à vis. Les tiges filetées agissent chacune sur un écrou (6) relié à une partie inférieure de la mâchoire (7) guidée qui agit avec les autres parties de la mâchoire de façon centrée. On obtient donc un mandrin de serrage dont les parties inférieures des mâchoires sont entraînées de façon centrale par des tiges filetées et des transmissions à vis sans fin; l'effet autobloquant des tiges et transmissions à vis est idéal pour le mandrin de serrage. A l'extérieur du mandrin de serrage, on agit sur le dispositif tendeur par une commande électrique.
