Abstract
Esta invención se refiere a compuestos intermedios y a una vía de síntesis para producir ácido 4-ciano-4-(3-ciclo-pentiloxi-4-metoxifenil)ciclohexanoico y sus análogos. Este ácido y sus análogos mencionados son selectivos respecto a la inhibición del sitio catalítico en la isoenzima de la clase de las fosfodiesterasas, los ácidos son útiles en el tratamiento de enfermedades que pueden ser moderadas por afectar la enzima PDE IV y subtipos. Esta invención se refiere a un método para producir un compuesto de fórmula (I) en la cual R1 es -(CR4R5)nC(O)O(CR4R5)mR6 donde los restos de alquilo pueden estar sustituídos con uno o mas halógenos; m es de 0a2; n es 1a 4, r es 0a6; R4 y R5 se seleccionan independientemente de H o alquilo C1-2;R6 es H , metilo, hidroxilo, arilo, arilo sustituído con halo, indanilo, indenilo, etc; X es YR2, halógeno, haloógeno, nitro, NH2, formilamina; X2 es O,; Y es O o S(O)m´; m´es 0,1 ó 2R3 es H, halógeno, alquilo C1-4; R´y R´´ son H o -C(O)OH.
