Be it known that we, EUGENE W. HAWLEY and GEGRGEH, WHEARY, both citizens of the United States, and residents, respectively, of Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee, and of Racine, in the county of Racine, State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Gartacle in which it is placed; said invention con sisting in what is hereinafter particularly set forth with rtd'crtmcc to the accompanying drawing and pointed out in the claims.
The drawing represents a perspective view of one of the aforesaid attachments.
Referring by letter to the drawing, A'indicates one, and B another section of a rectangular frame, these sections-being in pivotal connection. The frame-section A is providod with a series of suitably disposed apertures i) for nails, screws, belts or rivets by which to fasten the attachment as a whole to walls of the receptacle with which it is utilized, but said attachment may otherwise he fastened in said rwcpiacle. The framescction B is provided with pivotal notchedcnd braces c for which stop-guides d are emploved, these guides being for connection with walls of the receptacle aforesaid.
Suitably secured in connection with the frame-sections are rule-jointed rod-sections C, D, the frame-section l5 and rod-sections D being normally in the position shown, and within the confines of the receptacle to which the attachment is appiied. 1 The rodscctions are for the normal support of a "series of bars similar to the one E shown in the 1 drawing, and in practice garment-hangers are suspended from the bars. A garmenthanger F is shown provided with a central I hook e for the engagement of a ringf engagmg an aperture provided in the bar E, but said hanger may be otherwise in detachable connection with said bar. To provide for ready removal of each of the aforesaid bars they are notched at their ends for engage ment with the rod-sections aforesaid.
