Abstract

Mini undergarment attachments used by women to help hold up pants and skirts that have no belt loops is disclosed. This invention is unique, because it is a small and dainty pair of undergarment attachments that are hidden underneath women's clothing and does not ruin the appearance of an outfit. It also provides an inexpensive alternative to clothing alterations.

Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims the benefit of co-pending U.S. Provisional Application No. 13/887,296, filed May 4, 2013, which is hereby incorporated herein.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Problem Solved: Women tend to fluctuate at the waistline for various reasons. Since most women's pants and skirts do not have belt loops women tend to spend a huge amount of money clothing alterations. Tradition suspenders
  • This invention is unique, because it is a small and dainty pair of mini undergarment attachments that are hidden underneath women's clothing and does not ruin the appearance of an outfit. It also provides an inexpensive alternative to clothing alterations.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 shows one pair of mini undergarment attachments according to the invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • As stated above, most women's pants and skirts do not have belt loops and require expensive alterations. The invention claimed here solves this problem.
  • This invention is an instant and inexpensive solution for women. It will save women time and money, because women will no longer need to travel and pay money to have a pair of pants or skirt altered when it does not fit at the waist.
  • The claimed invention differs from what currently exists. Prior to this invention, women did not have a fashionable alternative for keeping up their pants or skirt with no belt loops. Unlike traditional suspenders, this invention is petite, dainty and is hidden underneath the clothing as a woman's undergarment.

  • The Version of The Invention Discussed Here Includes:
  • 1. Elastic bands
  • 2. Material defraying solution
  • 3. Metal glides
  • 4. Suspender clips
  • 5. Adhesive rhinestones
  • Relationship Between The Components:
  • The elastic band (Item 1) is made adjustable by attaching metal glide (Item 3). The defraying solution (Item 2) is used to applied keep the elastic from unraveling. The suspender clips (Items 4) are sown to each end of the elastic band and are used to attach to the appropriate garments underneath the shirt or blouse. The adhesive rhinestones are used to decorate the suspender clips
  • How The Invention Works:
  • The invention will be sold as a pair. One strap will be attached to the right side and the other to the left side. Attach one end of the suspender clip to the base of the of the bra cup underneath the armpit and the other suspender clip to the waist band of the pant or skirt. The length of the strap can be adjusted using the adjustable buckle. Repeat for the other side.
  • How To Make The Invention:
  • The elastic bands (item 1) is measured and cut. Defraying solution (Item 2) is applied to each end of the fabric and allowed to dry. The metal glide (Item 3) is strategically attached to each elastic band. The suspender clips (Items 4) are strategically attached and sown to each end of the elastic band. The adhesive rhinestones (Item 5) are measure, cut, and attached to the suspender clip.
  • The following items are required to make one pair: 4 suspender clips, 2 metal glides, 2 six inch elastic bands, 4 one inch adhesive rhinestones. An additional small piece of elastic and extra suspender clips can be added to each strap for added support (one suspender clip attached to the front of the waist band and one clip to the back of the waist band).
  • How To Use The Invention:
  • The person will use this invention under the blouse or shirt and attach to clothing. The invention will come as a pair; one band for each side. Each band will be attached by connecting one end of the suspender clip to the bra and the other end of the suspender clip to the waist band of the pant or skirt.

Claims (1)

I claim:
1. A pair of mini undergarment attachments, comprising:
elastic bands for comfort and flexibility, suspender clips for attaching to the base of brassiere on each side, suspender clips for attaching to the waistband of pant or skirt on each side, and metal glides for adjusting the length of the elastic to position waistband and, a means for sustaining pants or skirts.
