The method further provides for detection of genetic polymorphism of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR C677T), nitric oxide synthase (eNOS T 786) and measurement of C-reactive protein (CRP), glycosaminoglycans (GAG) concentrations; the fracture healing may be predicted if homozygous carrier status of 677-CC and heterozygous carrier status of 786-TC is revealed and the level of CRP is 1.7-5.2 mg/l and that of GAG is 24-26 mcmol/l.
