Abstract
A method for predicting fracture healing comprises clinical examination, radiography. The method further provides for detection of genetic polymorphism of MTHFR C677T and measurement of IL-6 and oxyproline concentration; the fracture healing may be predicted if homozygous carrier status of 677-CC is revealed and the level of IL-6 is 3.3-8.8 ng/l and that of oxyproline is 12-16 mcmol/l.
