A method for predicting fracture healing comprises clinical examination, radiography. Based on detection of genetic polymorphism of MTHFR C677T, eNOS Τ 786, and measurement of osteocalcin concentration, a fracture healing may be predicted if heterozygous carrier status of 677-CT and 786-TC is revealed and the level of osteocalcin is within 12.2-38.0 ng/ml.
