Abstract
The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A cast iron for forming rolls contains, w/w: carbon – 3.2-3.5, silicon – 1.0-1.8, manganese – 0.5-0.8, nickel – 0.7-0.8, chromium – 0.15-0.30, copper – 0.4-0.6, niobium – 0.05-0.10, rare-earth metals – 0.15-0.25, titanium – 0.10-0.15 and iron – the rest. The invention allows to obtain cast iron with improvederistics of wear resistance and strength.
