Abstract

A side box is provided. The side box is adapted to be utilized to a motorcycle. The side box includes a box body, a cover and a soft restriction member. The box body includes an upper edge. The upper edge defines a box opening. The cover is rotatably connected to the box body, and is adapted to cover at least a portion of the box opening. A receiving space is formed in an inner side of the cover. The cover includes a plurality of positioning units. The positioning units are disposed on inner walls of the cover. The soft restriction member is connected to the positioning units. An object is adapted to be received between the soft restriction member and an inner surface of the cover.

Description

Side storage box

This invention relates to a side storage box, and in particular to a side storage box installed on a motorcycle.

In the general design of a side storage box, the flip cover covers the box body in a rotatable manner. The inside of the flip cover generally has a certain degree of depth. However, since users do not often stack items to a height exceeding the upper edge of the box body when using the side storage box, the storage space inside the flip cover is often wasted.

The embodiment of the invention is to provide a side storage box for solving the problem of the prior art, which is suitable for a motorcycle and includes a box body, a flip cover and a soft limiting material. The box body includes an upper edge of the box body, wherein the upper edge of the box body surrounds and defines a box body opening. The flip cover is connected to the box body in a rotatable manner and is suitable for covering at least part of the box body opening, wherein a storage space is formed on the inner side of the flip cover, and the flip cover includes a plurality of positioning units, which are arranged on the inner wall of the flip cover. The soft limiting material connects the positioning units, wherein the space between the soft limiting material and the inner surface of the flip cover is suitable for accommodating a stored object.

In one embodiment, the soft limiting material includes a soft mesh material, and the edge of the soft mesh material is connected to the positioning units.

In one embodiment, the flip cover includes a first inner wall, a second inner wall and a third inner wall, the second inner wall is connected to the first inner wall and the third inner wall, the positioning units include a first positioning unit, a second positioning unit and a third positioning unit, the first positioning unit is arranged on the first inner wall, the second positioning unit is arranged on the second inner wall, and the third positioning unit is arranged on the third inner wall.

In one embodiment, the first positioning unit includes a first positioning hook, the second positioning unit includes a second positioning hook, the third positioning unit includes a third positioning hook, and the edge of the soft mesh material connects the first positioning hook, the second positioning hook and the third positioning hook.

In one embodiment, the end of the first positioning hook faces the first inner wall, the end of the second positioning hook faces the second inner wall, and the end of the third positioning hook faces the third inner wall.

In one embodiment, the soft mesh material defines a limiting area and an entry and exit area in the accommodation space, and the stored object is suitable for passing through the entry and exit area and being limited in the limiting area.

In one embodiment, the side storage box further includes a lock and a tenon, the lock is disposed on the box body, the tenon is disposed on the flip cover, and the tenon corresponds to the entry and exit area.

In one embodiment, the side storage box further includes a cover seat, wherein the cover seat is connected to the box and covers at least a portion of the box opening, the cover seat includes a base opening and a base covering portion, the base opening is connected to the box opening, the box opening includes a first opening area and a second opening area, the base opening corresponds to the first opening area, and the base covering portion covers the second opening area.

In one embodiment, the side storage box further includes a swivel arm, wherein one end of the swivel arm is connected to the flip cover, and the other end of the swivel arm is hinged to the base cover, the base cover includes a notch, and the swivel arm is suitable for being received in the notch.

In one embodiment, the side storage box further includes a rear decorative cover, and the rear decorative cover covers the base covering portion.

In the side storage box of the present invention, a soft limiting material is provided on the inner side of the flip cover to limit the stored objects, so that the storage space on the inner side of the flip cover can be effectively used to enhance the convenience of the user. The stored objects can be PET bottles, water jugs or other items of appropriate size.

Figure 1 shows the appearance of the motorcycle of this creative embodiment.

Figure 1 shows the appearance of the motorcycle M of the present invention, including components such as the faucet 91, front wheel 92, rear wheel 93, seat 94, and power system 95.

The motorcycle M includes a front section, a middle section, and a rear section. The front section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a faucet 91, a front wheel 92, a turn signal light, and a key hole. The middle section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a power system 95, a seat cushion 94, and a tripod. The rear section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a tail light, a rear wheel 93, and a fender.

The faucet 91 is used to control the direction of the motorcycle M. Functional parts can be installed on the faucet 91, including instruments, switches, rear mirrors and other units. The faucet 91 also has a handle (including a refueling handle) and a handbrake. The user can control the direction of the faucet 91 through the handle, adjust the throttle angle of the power system 95 through the refueling handle to control the power output, and slow down the motorcycle M through the handbrake. The faucet 91 can also be equipped with a main light, which provides the main lighting for the motorcycle M.

The faucet 91 and the front wheel 92 are connected via the faucet rotating shaft, so that the angle of the front wheel 92 can be controlled by rotating the faucet 91, thereby controlling the direction of travel of the motorcycle M.

The power system 95 is connected to and drives the rear wheel 93, thereby providing power to the motorcycle M to move the motorcycle M forward.

FIG. 2 is a three-dimensional view of the side storage box of the present invention, wherein the side storage box is in a closed state. FIG. 3 is a three-dimensional view of the side storage box of the present invention, wherein the side storage box is in an open state. FIG. 4 is an exploded view of the side storage box of the present invention. With reference to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, the side storage box B of the present invention is applicable to the aforementioned motorcycle M. The side storage box B includes a box body 1, a flip cover 2, and a soft limiting material 3. The box body 1 includes a box body upper edge 11, wherein the box body upper edge 11 surrounds and defines a box body opening 12. The flip cover 2 is rotatably connected to the box body 1 and is suitable for covering at least part of the box body opening 12, wherein a receiving space 29 is formed on the inner side of the flip cover 2, and the flip cover 2 includes a plurality of positioning units 21, and the positioning units 21 are arranged on the inner wall of the flip cover 2. The soft limiting material 3 is connected to the positioning units 21, wherein the space between the soft limiting material 3 and the inner surface of the flip cover 2 is suitable for accommodating a stored object O.

FIG. 5 shows the situation that the stored object O of the present invention is stored in the storage space 29 of the flip cover 2. Referring to FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the soft limiting material 3 is a soft mesh material (3), and the edge of the soft mesh material (3) is connected to the positioning units 21. In one embodiment, the soft mesh material (3) may be partially elastic, and the above disclosure does not limit the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the flip cover 2 includes a first inner wall 221, a second inner wall 222 and a third inner wall 223, the second inner wall 222 connects the first inner wall 221 and the third inner wall 223, the positioning units 21 include a first positioning unit 211, a second positioning unit 212 and a third positioning unit 213, the first positioning unit 211 is disposed on the first inner wall 221, the second positioning unit 212 is disposed on the second inner wall 222, and the third positioning unit 213 is disposed on the third inner wall 223.

Figure 6 shows the detailed structure of the positioning unit of the present invention. With reference to Figures 5 and 6, in one embodiment, the first positioning unit 211 includes a first positioning hook 214, the second positioning unit 212 includes a second positioning hook 215, and the third positioning unit 213 includes a third positioning hook 216. The edge of the soft mesh material (3) connects the first positioning hook 214, the second positioning hook 215 and the third positioning hook 216.

Referring to FIG. 6 , in one embodiment, the end of the first positioning hook 214 faces the first inner wall 221, the end of the second positioning hook 215 faces the second inner wall 222, and the end of the third positioning hook 216 faces the third inner wall 223.

Referring to FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the soft mesh material (3) defines a limiting area 291 and an entry and exit area 292 in the accommodating space 29, and the stored object O is suitable for passing through the entry and exit area 292 and being limited in the limiting area 291.

Referring to FIG. 5, in one embodiment, the side storage box B further includes a lock 41 and a latch 42, the latch 42 is suitable for connecting the lock 41, the lock 41 is arranged on the box body 1, the latch 42 is arranged on the flip cover 2, and the latch 42 corresponds to the access area 292. Specifically, in this embodiment, the latch 42 is adjacent to the access area 292, and the above disclosure does not limit the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4, in one embodiment, the side storage box B further includes a cover seat 5, wherein the cover seat 5 is connected to the box 1 and covers at least part of the box opening 12, the cover seat 5 includes a seat opening 51 and a seat covering portion 52, the seat opening 51 is connected to the box opening 12, the box opening 12 includes a first opening area 121 and a second opening area 122, the seat opening 51 corresponds to the first opening area 121, and the seat covering portion 52 covers the second opening area 122.

Referring to FIG. 4, in one embodiment, the side storage box B further includes a swivel arm 6, wherein one end of the swivel arm 6 is connected to the flip cover 2, and the other end of the swivel arm 6 is pivotally connected to the base cover 52, and the base cover 52 includes a notch 521, and the swivel arm 6 is suitable for being received in the notch 521.

Referring to FIG. 4, in one embodiment, the side storage box B further includes a rear decorative cover 7, and the rear decorative cover 7 covers the base covering portion 52.

In the side storage box of the present invention, a soft limiting material is provided on the inner side of the flip cover to limit the stored objects, so that the storage space on the inner side of the flip cover can be effectively used to enhance the convenience of the user. The stored objects can be PET bottles, water jugs or other items of appropriate size.

In the embodiments of the present invention, the motorcycle defined in the present invention may include a fuel motorcycle, an electric motorcycle or other motor vehicles.

Although this creation has been disclosed as above with a specific preferred embodiment, it is not used to limit this creation. Anyone familiar with this technology can still make some changes and embellishments without departing from the spirit and scope of this creation. Therefore, the protection scope of this creation shall be defined by the scope of the patent application attached hereto.

Claims (10)

A side storage box, suitable for a motorcycle, comprises: a box body, including a box body upper edge, wherein the box body upper edge surrounds and defines a box body opening; a flip cover, connected to the box body in a rotatable manner, and suitable for covering at least part of the box body opening, wherein a storage space is formed on the inner side of the flip cover, and the flip cover comprises a plurality of positioning units, wherein the positioning units are arranged on the inner wall of the flip cover; a soft limiting material, connected to the positioning units, wherein the space between the soft limiting material and the inner surface of the flip cover is suitable for accommodating a stored object. As in claim 1, the side storage box, wherein the soft limiting material comprises a soft mesh material, the edge of which is connected to the positioning units. As in claim 2, the side storage box, wherein the flip cover includes a first inner wall, a second inner wall and a third inner wall, the second inner wall is connected to the first inner wall and the third inner wall, the positioning units include a first positioning unit, a second positioning unit and a third positioning unit, the first positioning unit is arranged on the first inner wall, the second positioning unit is arranged on the second inner wall, and the third positioning unit is arranged on the third inner wall. As in claim 3, the side storage box, wherein the first positioning unit includes a first positioning hook, the second positioning unit includes a second positioning hook, the third positioning unit includes a third positioning hook, and the edge of the soft mesh material connects the first positioning hook, the second positioning hook and the third positioning hook. As in claim 4, the side storage box, wherein the end of the first positioning hook faces the first inner wall, the end of the second positioning hook faces the second inner wall, and the end of the third positioning hook faces the third inner wall. As in claim 2, the side storage box, wherein the soft mesh material defines a limiting area and an entry and exit area in the storage space, and the stored object is suitable for passing through the entry and exit area and being limited in the limiting area. The side storage box of claim 6 further includes a lock and a latch, the lock is disposed on the box body, the latch is disposed on the flip cover, and the latch corresponds to the entry and exit area. As in claim 1, the side storage box further includes a cover seat, wherein the cover seat is connected to the box and covers at least part of the box opening, the cover seat includes a base opening and a base covering portion, the base opening is connected to the box opening, the box opening includes a first opening area and a second opening area, the base opening corresponds to the first opening area, and the base covering portion covers the second opening area. The side storage box of claim 8 further includes a swivel arm, wherein one end of the swivel arm is connected to the flip cover, and the other end of the swivel arm is hinged to the base cover, the base cover includes a notch, and the swivel arm is suitable for being received in the notch. The side storage box of claim 9 further includes a rear decorative cover, which covers the base covering portion.
