Abstract

A motorcycle with a shock absorption function is provided. The motorcycle includes a frame, a mechanical power unit, a shock absorber, a battery box, and a battery. The frame includes a crossbar. The mechanical power unit is mounted on the frame and includes an output shaft. One end of the shock absorber is rotatably connected to the crossbar. The battery box is connected to and supported by the crossbar. The battery is installed inside the battery box.

Description

Motorcycles with shock absorption function

This invention relates to a motorcycle, and more particularly to a motorcycle with shock absorption function.

In the prior art, when the battery is placed in the storage compartment under the seat, the battery is primarily located above the rear shock absorber. However, this placement affects the storage compartment's capacity, making it too small or too shallow, and in some cases, unable to even hold a helmet. In particular, for vehicles with a mid-mounted rear shock absorber, the shock absorber may interfere with the storage compartment, making it impossible to even place a storage compartment under the seat.

This invention provides a motorcycle with shock absorption function to solve problems in the prior art, comprising a frame, a power unit, a shock absorber, a battery box, and a battery. The frame includes a crossbar. The power unit is mounted on the frame, and the power unit includes an output shaft. One end of the shock absorber is rotatably connected to the crossbar. The battery box is connected to and supported by the crossbar. The battery is disposed in the battery box.

In one embodiment, the battery case includes a first battery case fixing part that is fixed to the crossbar.

In one embodiment, the locomotive further includes a rocker arm unit, wherein the rocker arm unit is connected to the power unit, the rocker arm unit is adapted to pivot about an axis, the output shaft is located on the axis, the rocker arm unit includes a first rocker arm and a second rocker arm, and the shock absorber passes between the first rocker arm and the second rocker arm.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a linkage unit, wherein the other end of the shock absorber is connected to the linkage unit, the linkage unit is connected to the power unit and the rocker arm unit.

In one embodiment, the battery is located in front of the shock absorber in a horizontal direction.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a storage compartment and a seat cushion, the storage compartment being connected to the battery box and the seat cushion being adapted to cover the storage compartment.

In one embodiment, the storage box includes a box body and a flange. The box body includes an upper opening and a lower opening. The flange is formed at the upper edge of the box body. The cushion is adapted to cover the upper opening. The lower opening corresponds to the battery box. The battery is adapted to be placed inside the battery box through the lower opening.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a first fixing member and a second fixing member, wherein the battery box includes a second battery box fixing part, the first fixing member locks and fixes the first battery box fixing part to the crossbar, and the second fixing member locks and fixes the housing to the second battery box fixing part.

In one embodiment, the frame further includes a head tube, a left extension tube, a right extension tube, a left hanger tube, and a right hanger tube. The left extension tube is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube, the right extension tube is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube, the left hanger tube is connected to the lower side of the left extension tube, the right hanger tube is connected to the lower side of the right extension tube, one end of the crossbar is connected to the left hanger tube, and the other end of the crossbar is connected to the right hanger tube.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a third fastener, wherein the frame further includes a cross-connector, one end of which is connected to the upper side of the left extension tube and the other end of which is connected to the upper side of the right extension tube, the storage box includes a storage box fixing part, and the third fastener locks and fixes the storage box fixing part to the cross-connector.

In this embodiment of the invention, one end of the shock absorber is rotatably connected to a crossbar, and the battery box is connected to and supported by the crossbar. Because the shock absorber is positioned low, the space above it can be used to install a storage box (i.e., a storage box under the seat). Furthermore, in one embodiment, the battery is located in front of the shock absorber. This further expands the storage space of the storage box. In one embodiment, the storage box can accommodate a helmet or other large items.

Figure 1 shows the exterior of the motorcycle of the present invention. Referring to Figure 1, the motorcycle M of the present invention includes components such as a handlebar 91, a front wheel 92, a rear wheel 93, a seat 94, and a power unit 95.

The motorcycle M consists of a front section, a middle section, and a rear section. The front section of the motorcycle M includes components such as the handlebars 91, the front wheel 92, turn signals, and a keyhole. The middle section of the motorcycle M includes components such as the power unit 95, the seat 94, and the kickstand. The rear section of the motorcycle M includes components such as the taillights, the rear wheel 93, and the mudguards.

The throttle 91 is used to control the direction of travel of the motorcycle M. The throttle 91 can be equipped with functional components, including instruments, switches, and rearview mirrors. The throttle 91 also has handlebars (including a throttle grip) and a handbrake. The user can control the steering of the throttle 91 through the handlebars, adjust the throttle angle of the power unit 95 to control power output through the throttle grip, and decelerate the motorcycle M through the handbrake. The throttle 91 can also be equipped with a main light, which provides primary illumination for the motorcycle M.

The auger 91 and the front wheel 92 are linked by the auger rotation shaft, thereby controlling the angle of the front wheel 92 by rotating the auger 91, thus controlling the direction of travel of the motorcycle M.

The power unit 95 is connected to and drives the rear wheel 93, thereby providing power to the motorcycle M and enabling the motorcycle M to move forward.

Figure 2 is an exploded view showing the main structure of the motorcycle of the present invention embodiment. Referring to Figure 2, the motorcycle with shock absorption function of the present invention embodiment includes a frame 1, a power unit 95, a shock absorber 2, a battery box 3, and a battery 39. The frame 1 includes a crossbar 14. The power unit 95 is mounted on the frame 1, wherein the power unit 95 includes an output shaft 951. One end of the shock absorber 2 is rotatably connected to the crossbar 14. The battery box 3 is connected to and supported by the crossbar 14. The battery 39 is disposed in the battery box 3.

Figure 3 shows the detailed structure of the battery case according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to Figure 3, in one embodiment, the battery case 3 includes a first battery case fixing part 31, which is fixed to the crossbar 14.

Figure 4 is an exploded view showing the rocker arm unit of an embodiment of the present invention. Referring in conjunction with Figures 2 and 4, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a rocker arm unit 4, wherein the rocker arm unit 4 is connected to the power unit 95, the rocker arm unit is adapted to rotate about an axis L, the output shaft 951 is located on the axis L, the rocker arm unit 4 includes a first rocker arm 41 and a second rocker arm 42, and the shock absorber 2 passes between the first rocker arm 41 and the second rocker arm 42.

Figure 5 is a side view of a motorcycle according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring in conjunction with Figures 4 and 5, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a linkage unit 29, wherein the other end of the shock absorber 2 is connected to the linkage unit 29, and the linkage unit 29 is connected to the power unit 95 and the rocker arm unit 4.

Referring to Figure 5, in one embodiment, the battery 39 is located in front of the shock absorber 2 in a horizontal direction H.

Referring to Figures 2, 3, 4, and 5, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a storage box 5 and a seat 94, the storage box 5 being connected to the battery box 3, and the seat 94 being adapted to cover the storage box 5.

Referring to Figures 2, 3, and 5, in one embodiment, the storage box 5 includes a box body 51 and a flange 52. The box body 51 includes an upper opening 511 and a lower opening 512. The flange 52 is formed at the upper edge of the box body 51. The seat 94 is adapted to cover the upper opening 511. The lower opening 512 corresponds to the battery case 3, and the battery 39 is adapted to pass through the lower opening 512 and be placed inside the battery case 3. For clarity, the storage box 5 in Figure 3 is shown in a partially cut-away manner. The above disclosure does not limit the invention.

Referring to Figure 3, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a first fixing member 61 and a second fixing member 62, wherein the battery box 3 includes a second battery box fixing part 32, the first fixing member 61 locks and fixes the first battery box fixing part 31 to the crossbar 14, and the second fixing member 62 locks and fixes the housing 51 to the second battery box fixing part 32.

Figure 6 shows the detailed structure of the frame of an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to Figure 6, in one embodiment, the frame 1 further includes a head tube 13, a left extension tube 11, a right extension tube 12, a left hanger tube 15, and a right hanger tube 16. The left extension tube 11 is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube 13, the right extension tube 12 is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube 13, the left hanger tube 15 is connected to the lower side of the left extension tube 11, the right hanger tube 16 is connected to the lower side of the right extension tube 12, one end of the crossbar 14 is connected to the left hanger tube 15, and the other end of the crossbar 14 is connected to the right hanger tube 16.

Referring to Figures 3 and 6, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a third fastener 63, wherein the frame 1 further includes a cross-connector 17, one end of which is connected to the upper side of the left extension tube 11, and the other end of which is connected to the upper side of the right extension tube 12. The storage box 5 includes a storage box fixing part 521, and the third fastener 63 locks and fixes the storage box fixing part 521 to the cross-connector 17.

In this embodiment of the invention, one end of the shock absorber is rotatably connected to a crossbar, and the battery box is connected to and supported by the crossbar. Because the shock absorber is positioned low, the space above it can be used to install a storage box (i.e., a storage box under the seat). Furthermore, in one embodiment, the battery is located in front of the shock absorber. This further expands the storage space of the storage box. In one embodiment, the storage box can accommodate a helmet or other large items.

In the embodiments of this invention, a gasoline-powered motorcycle is used as an example; however, the foregoing disclosure does not limit the invention. The motorcycle as defined in this invention may include gasoline-powered motorcycles, electric motorcycles, or other motor vehicles.

Although the present invention has been disclosed above with specific preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Anyone skilled in the art may make some modifications and refinements without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention shall be determined by the appended patent application.

Claims (10)

A motorcycle with shock absorption function includes: a frame including a crossbar; a power unit mounted on the frame, wherein the power unit includes an output shaft; a shock absorber, wherein one end of the shock absorber is rotatably connected to the crossbar; a battery box connected to and supported by the crossbar; and a battery disposed in the battery box; a rocker arm unit, wherein the rocker arm unit is linked to the power unit; and a rear wheel, wherein the rear wheel is rotatably connected to the rocker arm unit, and in a vertical direction, the height of the crossbar is lower than the upper edge of the rear wheel. As described in claim 1, the motorcycle with shock absorption function includes a first battery box fixing part, which is fixed to the crossbar. As described in claim 2, the motorcycle with shock absorption function, wherein the rocker arm unit is adapted to rotate about an axis, the output shaft is located on the axis, the rocker arm unit includes a first rocker arm and a second rocker arm, and the shock absorber passes between the first rocker arm and the second rocker arm. The motorcycle with shock absorption function as described in claim 3 further includes a linkage unit, wherein the other end of the shock absorber is connected to the linkage unit, and the linkage unit is connected to the power unit and the rocker arm unit. As described in claim 3, the motorcycle with shock absorption function, wherein, in a horizontal direction, the battery is located in front of the shock absorber. The motorcycle with shock absorption function as described in any of claims 1 to 5 further includes a storage box and a seat cushion, the storage box being connected to the battery box and the seat cushion being adapted to cover the storage box. As described in claim 6, the motorcycle with shock absorption function includes a housing and a flange. The housing includes an upper opening and a lower opening. The flange is formed on the upper edge of the housing. The seat is adapted to cover the upper opening. The lower opening corresponds to the battery box. The battery is adapted to pass through the lower opening and be placed inside the battery box. The motorcycle with shock absorption function as described in claim 7 further includes a first fixing member and a second fixing member, wherein the battery box includes a second battery box fixing part, the first fixing member locks and fixes the first battery box fixing part to the crossbar, and the second fixing member locks and fixes the housing to the second battery box fixing part. As described in claim 8, the motorcycle with shock absorption function further includes a head tube, a left extension tube, a right extension tube, a left suspension tube, and a right suspension tube. The left extension tube is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube, the right extension tube is directly or indirectly connected to the head tube, the left suspension tube is connected to the lower side of the left extension tube, the right suspension tube is connected to the lower side of the right extension tube, one end of the crossbar is connected to the left suspension tube, and the other end of the crossbar is connected to the right suspension tube. The motorcycle with shock absorption function as described in claim 9 further includes a third fastener, wherein the frame further includes a cross-connector, one end of which is connected to the upper side of the left extension tube and the other end of which is connected to the upper side of the right extension tube, the storage box includes a storage box fixing part, and the third fastener locks and fixes the storage box fixing part to the cross-connector.
