Abstract

The present invention discloses an information providing method for an electronic device. The information providing method may include the following steps: providing an item detail page including information of an item selected by a user; confirming the first input of the user to add the item to a shopping cart page; based on the first input, providing a recommendation page displaying a plurality of interface tool sets in a preset area, the plurality of interface tool sets including at least one item related to the item; and based on the second input of a keyword provided by the user on the recommendation page, providing a search result page of items related to the keyword.

Description

Electronic device and information providing method thereof, and non-temporary computer-readable recording medium

The present invention relates to an item recommendation method for an electronic device, which can provide a recommendation page for displaying at least one interface tool set in a preset area, wherein the at least one interface tool set includes at least one item related to the item saved in the shopping cart page, so as to increase the user's purchase rate.

Using the application software installed on the user's terminal, the user can search for items and select some items to save on the shopping cart page. Since the user can select some items to save on the shopping cart page during the search process and then purchase them later, the items saved on the shopping cart page may be items that the user is relatively willing to purchase.

At this time, in order to further increase the user's purchase rate, the electronic device may provide a recommendation page including at least one item related to the item saved in the shopping cart page. In order to stimulate the user's desire to buy, the recommendation page may include at least one interface tool set classified according to a fixed standard. If the user selects a keyword included in at least one interface tool set of the recommendation page, the user may move to the search result page of items related to the keyword.

According to the first embodiment, the information providing method of the electronic device may include the following steps: providing an item detail page including information of an item selected by a user; confirming the first input of the user to add the item to the shopping cart page; based on the first input, providing a recommendation page displaying at least one interface tool set in a preset area, the at least one interface tool set including at least one item related to the item; and based on the second input of the user for the keyword provided by the user on the recommendation page, providing a search result page of items related to the keyword.

According to an embodiment, the step of providing the above-mentioned recommendation page may include the following steps: providing a recommendation page including a first interface tool set, wherein the first interface tool set displays keywords extracted based on categories related to the above-mentioned items.

According to the embodiment, the first interface tool set can confirm a list of items that have been purchased together with the above item for more than a preset number of times, and display keywords extracted based on the above list.

According to the embodiment, the first interface tool set can be displayed in the default area of the recommendation page, and the number of the extracted keywords can be limited by considering the size of the default area.

According to the present invention, by analyzing the items saved on the shopping cart page, keywords included in the first interface tool set on the recommendation page can be provided. According to the embodiment, in addition to item A saved on the shopping cart page, the electronic device can also extract keywords by considering the category of the earliest saved item within a fixed period (e.g., 1 month) among at least one item.
