Abstract
A lens assembly machine comprises a feeding and collecting means, a front transporting means, a centering means, a rear transporting means and an assembly seat, wherein the feeding and collecting means is used to hold a plurality of material trays of lens workpieces so that the front transporting means can pick the lens workpieces thereon, a plurality of pick-and-place apparatuses are provided at the front transporting means and can move in the X, Y and Z directions, after the lens workpieces are drawn from the feeding and collecting means, they will be conveyed to the centering means so as to obtain the flatness and centering position thereof, thereafter, a plurality of pick-and-place apparatuses of rear transporting means will convey the lens workpieces onto the assembly seat for the lens assembly, at the time that the front transporting means will repeatedly draw the lens workpieces of feeding and collecting means and convey them to the centering means, while the assembled lens workpiece will be transported to a temporary storage area by the rear transporting means, and then the rear transporting means will repeatedly transport lens workpieces from the centering means to the assembly seat for the lens assembly, thus the quick and efficient assembly process can be achieved.
