Abstract

A heat sink includes a base, a plurality of parallel fins arranged on the base and at least one heat pipe connecting with the base and the fins. The heat sink forms a ceiling at a top thereof, such that a passage with two ports respectively at two ends thereof is defined between two adjacent fins, for air flowing therein. The distance defined between the ceiling and the base at one of the two ports is larger than that at another of the two ports. Thus, heat exchanging efficiency between the air and the fins is enhanced. Therefore, heat dissipating efficiency of the heat sink is improved.
