Description

The proposed fixture, which is designed for pivoting the automatic coupling head to the traction apparatus of the car, is provided with a hook-shaped protrusion, which, when the head is plumb, is used as a trailing hook for coupling to the car having a turnbuckle.

Connected to the car, a ha of 19 box-section, to which the head 3 of the automatic coupling is attached, has an end bracket 26 with sockets 29 in the sides, and the shank 18 of the head, also box-shaped, is provided with two inward-directed pins 23 and a hook-shaped protrusion 24 with shoulders 27 on the sides. The trunnions 23 enter the sockets 29 of the bracket 26, as a result of which the head and its shank can turn on these trunks relative to the rod 19 and assume a horizontal or vertical position. In order to enable such turning, a corresponding cutout is made in the shank 18 for an exit of the bracket 26, and for the entrance of the projection 24 in the pull 19, its cutout 28 is made at the top. When the head and the shank are horizontal and necessary for coupling both cars with automatic linkages, the protrusion 24 , going inside the rod 19, with its shoulders 27 is held in the edges 25 there. If, however, slightly raise the head and its shank to the top, the protrusion 24 will come out of the rod 19 and the head and the shank 18 will take a plumb position (Fig. 3) , at what ledge 24, raised upward, it can serve as a hook for coupling with the car, having an ordinary screw tightening.

The subject matter of the invention.

An attachment device for attaching the automatic coupling head, characterized in that the box-type cable 19 connected to the car is provided with a bracket 26 with sockets for the trunnions 23 of the head shank 18, and the shaft 18 has a hook-like protrusion 24 inserted through the top cut-out 28 of the cable 19 inside the latter and abutting shoulders 27 - 27 in the edges 25 - 25 (Fig. 2} ti, which is the protrusion 24, when placing the head in a vertical position on the trunnions, is used as a pull hook when coupling to a car equipped with a screw tie.
