Wind and like screens.-In a side or similar screen 2 for a vehicle securing means comprise a longitudinally split hollow-stem 6 adapted to engage a fixed socket 15, the stem being adapted to be expanded by. the pointed end 11 of a rod 9 which is screwed into the stem. The socket 15 is sunk into a fixed part of the vehicle and is expanded at its lower end 18 to secure it.
