Description

Side car dumpers are known, the cradle of which is a platform mounted on a support rocking about a horizontal axis, rotated by means of a winch and a rope and equipped with fall protection grippers and draining trays. However, it takes a lot of energy to tilt such devices.

In the described wagon driver, this drawback is eliminated by the fact that in order to reduce the energy costs of its rollover, it is made in a truss hinge supporting a cradle and equipped with counterweights that interact with a traction cable. For servicing wagons of various lengths, one of the claws is made mobile along the track.

The side car dumper consists of a truss 1, supported by a longitudinal joint 2, a turntable 3, counterweights 4, an automatic 5 and a manual 6 grippers, a reversible 7 and a traction 8 winches.

After installation of the empty car 9 on the rotary platform 3, the car 10 is lifted with the help of a traction winch 8, which is to be unloaded, which rolls onto the carriage 11 and is fixed by the grippers 5 and 6, protecting the car 10 from falling.
