Abstract

A method for manufacturing concrete panels by means of a moulding machine is described, the moulding machine having a large number of mould members, each of which is provided with a mould receptacle (3) which in turn has at least one mould trough (10, 11) for receiving wet concrete with water excess. A concrete mass in the mould trough is pressed into a concrete panel in a pressing station, the mould receptacle working together with an upper pressing plate (58) and a lower pressing plate (13). In this connection, according to the invention, the water which is pressed out during the pressing process on the two pressing plates (13, 58) of the just pressed concrete panel is drawn off from the mould trough(s) (10, 11) by an upper and a lower off-take system, in which an underpressure is applied and maintained during the pressing process. A device for implementing such a method has a moulding machine with a large number of moulding members, each of which is provided with a mould receptacle (3) with at least one mould trough (10, 11). The mould receptacle (3) is in this connection designed in such a manner that each mould trough (10, 11) is provided with an upper and a lower pressing plate (13, 58) in a pressing station for pressing concrete panels. By an upper and a lower duct system for removing the excess water pressed out on the pressing plates (13, 58) during the pressing process, it is ensured by means of an underpressure device, which can be connected to these duct systems during the pressing process, that the water emerging on the surfaces of the just pressed concrete panel (1) can be removed suitably and safely. <IMAGE>
