Claims (16)
1. Способ борьбы с повреждением растений хлопковой совкой, причем указанный способ содержит предоставление инсектицидного белка Cry1Da или его варианта указанной хлопковой совке для поедания.
2. Способ по п. 1, причем указанный инсектицидный белок Cry1Da или его вариант продуцируется клеткой растения и находится в ней.
3. Способ по п. 1, причем указанный инсектицидный белок Cry1Da или его вариант продуцируется целым фертильным растением и находится в нем.
4. Способ по п. 1, причем указанный инсектицидный белок Cry1Da содержит область эндотоксина, которая по меньшей мере на 95% идентична последовательности SEQ ID NO: 6.
5. Способ по п. 1, причем указанный инсектицидный белок Cry1Da содержит область эндотоксина, которая по меньшей мере на 99% идентична последовательности SEQ ID NO: 6.
6. Способ по п. 4, причем указанное растение выбрано из группы, состоящей из кукурузы, сои и хлопка.
7. Совокупность растений в поле, содержащая растения-убежища, не имеющие белка Bt, и совокупность растений, экспрессирующих инсектицидный белок, содержащий эндотоксин Cry1Da, причем указанные растения-убежища составляют менее 40%, менее 30%, менее 20%, менее 10% или менее 5% от всех возделываемых растений на указанном поле.
8. Совокупность растений по п. 7, причем указанные растения занимают площадь более 10 акров.
9. Совокупность растений по п. 7, причем растения-убежища отсутствуют.
10. Совокупность растений по п. 7, причем указанные растения-убежища находятся в блоках или полосах.
11. Смесь семян, содержащая семена-убежища, полученные от растений-убежищ, не содержащих Bt, и совокупность семян, способных экспрессировать Cry1Da, причем указанные семена-убежища составляют менее 40%, менее 30%, менее 20%, менее 10% или менее 5% от всего количества семян в смеси.
12. Способ борьбы с насекомым хлопковая совка, заключающийся в позволении указанному насекомому питаться любым из растений по п.п. 7-10.
13. Способ борьбы с повреждением растений хлопковой совкой, причем указанный способ содержит трансформацию клетки растения последовательностью ДНК, которая экспрессирует кодирующую область, содержащую SEQ ID NO:6, регенерацию фертильного трансгенного растения из указанной трансформированной растительной клетки, сбор семян, несущих указанную последовательность ДНК, с указанных трансформированных растений, выращивание семян указанного трансформированного растения и позволение указанной хлопковой совке кормиться белком, экспрессированным указанной последовательностью ДНК.
14. Способ по п. 13, причем последовательность ДНК по меньшей мере на 99% идентична последовательности SEQ ID NO:6.
15. Способ борьбы с повреждением растений хлопковой совкой, причем указанный способ включает выращивание семян, полученным от указанных трансформированных растений, которые экспрессируют кодирующую область, содержащую последовательность SEQ ID NO:6, и позволение указанной хлопковой совке кормиться на белке, экспрессируемом указанной последовательностью ДНК.
16. Способ по п. 15, причем последовательность ДНК по меньшей мере на 99% идентична последовательности SEQ ID NO:6.
