Abstract

The invention relates to a food distribution device (1) comprising at least one storage surface (4), which is to be placed above a cooking and/or warming area (2). The storage surface (4) is at least partially transparent and is preferably made of plastic or glass, particularly of safety glass or of laminated glass. The aim of the invention is to ensure an almost complete removal by suction of the vapor and odors rising above the cooking and/or warming area (2). To this end, the storage surface (4) is connected to at least one, preferably several, suction pipes (5) that lead into the storage surface (4), whereby enabling the storage surface (4) to function as a nozzle surface for the removal by suction.
