Abstract
Un separador ciclonico (10) comprende una camara de separacion (14), una entrada de alimentacion (16) que conduce a la camara de separacion y una descarga de flujo inferior (18) que conduce desde la camara de separacion. El separador ciclonico comprende ademas un buscador de vortices (20) que tiene un extremo de entrada posicionado en la camara de separacion, un extremo de salida que define una descarga de desbordamiento y una abertura de purga (48) definida por los extremos de entrada y salida del buscador de vortices y a traves del cual una porcion de un flujo de desbordamiento puede purgarse del buscador de vortices para eliminar las particulas sobredimensionadas del flujo de desbordamiento.
