Abstract
The invention relates to a dip tube (2) for withdrawing a gas stream from a cyclone (1). During operation the gas flows into the dip tube (2) via a gas inlet (8) and flows out again via a gas outlet (9). The dip tube (2) comprises a first region being designed as a nozzle which convergently tapers from an inner nozzle diameter to a smallest inner diameter, and the dip tube (2) comprises a second region through which during operation downstream the first region gas flows and which is designed as a diffusor which convergently tapers from an inner diffusor diameter in the direction of the first region to the smallest inner diameter. The nozzle has the geometry of a lateral surface being rotationally symmetric with respect to an axis in the form of a truncated cone, wherein the included angle between the lateral surface and the axis is between 1° and 88°.
