Abstract

La materia objeto de la presente invencion trata sobre las disposiciones de montaje del catalizador para un sistema de escape de vehiculos de multiples ruedas. La materia objeto de la presente invencion propone una disposicion para incrementar la capacidad de conversion de convertidores cataliticos que es, en general, directamente proporcional al tamano del catalizador, mediante la implementacion de dos convertidores cataliticos en diferentes ubicaciones. El convertidor catalitico primario esta ubicado dentro de la primera seccion del silenciador y el ensamble de convertidor catalitico secundario esta ubicado en el tubo de escape a una distancia predeterminada de la unidad de motor y de la entrada de silenciador. Ademas, se abordan varios desafios de diseno asociados con un vehiculo de multiples ruedas para la implementacion de lo anterior.
