Abstract

Se refiere a kits de diagnostico que comprenden: (a) una solucion salina; (b) al menos un anticuerpo que se une especificamente a CD44; y (c) un reactivo para determinar la concentracion de proteina total. Opcionalmente, el kit de diagnostico comprende ademas: (d) un anticuerpo que se une especificamente a p16 INK4a; (e) una muestra de referencia CD44, una muestra de referencia p16, o ambos; y (f) uno o mas agentes colorimetricos para detectar al anticuerpo anti–CD44 o anti–p16. Dichos kits de diagnostico son utiles para determinar riesgo de cancer, como carcinoma de celulas escamosas de cabeza y cuello (CCECC), por medicion de marcadores como solCD44 y proteina total en muestras de fluidos corporales.
