REFERIDA A UN PROCEDIMIENTO DE PREPARACION DE 5-(4-METIL-1H-IMIDAZOL-1-IL)-3-(TRIFLUORO-METIL)-BENCENAMINA DE FORMULA (I), EL CUAL COMPRENDE LOS PASOS DE: a) HACER REACCIONAR EL COMPUESTO DINITROBENZOTRIFLUORURO CON 4-METIL-1H-IMIDAZOL DE FORMULA (IIIa) A UNA TEMPERATURA DE ENTRE 80ºC Y 150 ºC, PARA PREPARAR EL 4-METIL-1-(3-NITRO-5-TRIFLUORO-METIL-FENIL)-1H-IMIDAZOL DE FORMULA (III) Y b) REDUCIR EL COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (III) EN PRESENCIA DE UN CATALIZADOR TAL COMO PALADIO, PLATINO, NIQUEL DE RANEY O COMBINACIONES DE LOS MISMOS, PARA PRODUCIR EL COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (I). DICHO COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (I) ES UN INERMEDIARIO PARA LA PREPARACION DE LAS PIRIMIDINIL-AMINO-BENZAMIDAS SUSTITUYIDAS DE FORMULA (II), LOS CUALES INHIBEN UNA O MAS QUINASAS DE TIROSINA, TALES COMO c-Abl, Bcr-Abl, ENTRE OTRAS.
