Claims (23)
- 수성 환경 중에서 표면-반응된(surface-reacted) 탄산칼슘을 제조하는 방법으로서, 다음의 단계:
(a) 탄산칼슘을 제공하는 단계,
(b) 탄산칼슘의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산 5 중량% 내지 50 중량%를 제공하는 단계로서, 상응하는 산 음이온은 수-불용해성 칼슘 염을 형성할 수 있는 것인 단계,
(c) 가스상 CO2를 제공하는 단계,
(d) 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염을 제공하는 단계, 및
(e) 상기 탄산칼슘을, 상기 단계 (b)의 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과, 상기 단계 (c)의 가스상 CO2와, 그리고 상기 단계 (d)의 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉시키는 단계
를 포함하고, 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산은 2.5 초과의 pKa를 갖고, 그의 상응하는 산 음이온은 수-불용해성 칼슘 염을 형성할 수 있는 것인 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 2.5 이하의 pKa 값을 갖는 하나 이상의 산은 25℃에서 0 이하의 pKa를 갖는 강산 및 25℃에서 0 내지 2.5의 pKa 값을 갖는 중간 강산으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 중간 강산은 H3PO4, 옥살산 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산이 H3PO4이고, 바람직하게는 20%(v/v) 내지 40%(v/v)의 농도로 존재하는 H3PO4인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염은 1,000 g/mol 이하, 바람직하게는 750 g/mol 이하, 보다 바람직하게는 500 g/mol 이하의 분자량을 갖는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염은 붕산, 시트르산, 시트르산이수소나트륨, 시트르산이수소칼륨, 시트르산수소이나트륨, 시트르산수소이칼륨, 붕산이수소나트륨, 붕산이수소칼륨, 붕산수소이나트륨, 붕산수소이칼륨, 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염은 탄산칼슘의 중량을 기준으로 하여 0.1 중량% 내지 20 중량%, 바람직하게는 1 중량% 내지 15 중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 1 중량% 내지 10 중량%, 가장 바람직하게는 1 중량% 내지 5 중량%의 범위에 있는 양으로 첨가되는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하고, 이어서 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염 및 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 동시적으로 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하고, 그 산의 첨가 동안, 탄산칼슘은 또한 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하고, 상기 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산의 총량 중 5%가 첨가된 후, 탄산칼슘은 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하고, 상기 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산의 총량 중 10%가 첨가된 후, 탄산칼슘은 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하고, 상기 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산의 총량 중 20%가 첨가된 후, 탄산칼슘은 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하는 것인 방법.

- 제10항에 있어서, 탄산칼슘은 우선 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산과 접촉하고, 상기 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산의 총량 중 80%가 첨가된 후, 탄산칼슘은 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산 및/또는 상기 하나 이상의 수-용해성 비중합체 유기 및/또는 무기 약산의 수소 염과 접촉하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제16항 중 어느 하나의 항에 있어서, 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 산은
(i) 2.5 이하의 pKa를 갖는 하나 이상의 H3O+ 이온 제공자로서, 상응하는 산 음이온은 수-용해성 칼슘 염을 형성할 수 있는 것인 하나 이상의 H3O+ 이온 제공자,및
