すべてのデバイス実施例を、高真空(<10-7トール)熱蒸発法により組み立てた。アノード電極は1200Åのインジウムスズ酸化物(ITO)である。カソードは10ÅのLiF、次の1000ÅのAlからなる。組み立てた直後にすべてのデバイスを、窒素グローブボックス中(<1ppmのH20及びO2)で、エポキシ樹脂で密封したガラスふたで封入し、水分ゲッターをそのパッケージ中に組み込んだ。
