Description
Claims (15)
- 近位端および遠位端を有し、電気外科手術用熱灼プローブと操作可能に係合するように適合された管状シャフトと、
前記管状シャフトの遠位端に接合された近位の開口頂端部、および遠位の開口基部を有する円錐開口であって、ここで前記管状シャフトの内部体積が前記円錐開口に向かって開口している円錐開口と、
前記円錐開口内に配置され、複数の誘電領域を有する誘電体コアであって、前記誘電領域の各々が異なる誘電率を有し、前記誘電領域の一つがバランに隣接する誘電体コアとを備える、指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。 - 前記誘電体コア内に画定され、前記誘電体コアの遠位面から前記管状シャフトの内部体積まで伸長する縦方向の開口とをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- その円周で前記円錐開口の遠位の開口基部に固定された、概ね円形の遠位プレートと、
その円周で前記管状シャフトの外面に固定された、前記遠位プレート内に画定された円形開口とをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。 - 前記遠位プレートがポリテトラフルオロエチレンから形成される、請求項3に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記管状シャフトが、電気外科手術用熱灼プローブに配置された対応する突起部と操作可能に係合するように適合された、その近位端付近に画定された少なくとも1つのスロットを備える、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記円錐開口内に画定された冷却チャンバをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記冷却チャンバが、冷却源によりそこを通って循環される冷却材料を備える、請求項6に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記バランは、前記管状シャフトの少なくとも一部の周囲に、同心円状に配置されている、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記バランの近位端で、前記管状シャフトの周囲に同心円状に配置され、そこに電気的に結合されたリング状のバラン短絡をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記バランと前記管状シャフトとの間に、同心円状に配置されたバラン誘電体層をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 前記円錐開口内に配置されたバランをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- 近位端および遠位端を有し、電気外科手術用熱灼プローブと操作可能に係合するように適合された管状内側シャフトと、
その間に流体管を画定するため、前記内側シャフトの周りに同軸に配置された管状外側シャフトと、
前記管状外側シャフトの遠位端に接合された近位の開口頂端部、および遠位の開口基部を有するであって、ここで前記管状シャフトの内部体積が前記円錐開口に向かって開口している円錐開口と、
前記円錐開口内に配置され、複数の誘電領域を有する誘電体コアであって、前記誘電領域の各々が異なる誘電率を有し、前記誘電領域の一つがバランに隣接する誘電体コアとを備える、指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。 - 前記内側シャフトが、前記円錐開口の遠位の開口基部に向かって遠位に伸長する、請求項12に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
- その円周で、前記円錐開口の遠位の開口基部に固定される概ね円形の遠位プレートと、
その円周で、前記管状内側シャフトの外面に固定される前記遠位プレートに確定される円形開口とをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。 - 前記内側シャフトまたは前記外側シャフトの少なくとも一部分が、その近位端付近に画定された少なくとも1つのスロットを備え、当該スロットが、前記電気外科手術用熱灼プローブにより設けられた、対応する突起部と操作可能に係合するように適合されている、請求項12に記載の指向性リフレクタ・アセンブリ。
