Claims (13)
- ディーゼル燃料組成物を使用する高圧燃料システムを備えたディーゼルエンジンにおけるエンジン性能を改善するための、該ディーゼル燃料組成物における添加剤の使用であって、前記添加剤が、
(a)アルデヒドと、
(b)ポリアミンと、
(c)置換されていてもよいフェノールと
の間のマンニッヒ反応の生成物であり、
成分(c)の1つ又はそれぞれの置換基が、300未満の平均分子量を有し、前記燃料システムが1350×105Paを超える圧力を有する、使用。 - 性能の改善が、エンジンの出力損失の低減及び/又はエンジンの噴射器の堆積物の低減により測定され得る、請求項1に記載の使用。
- 添加剤生成物が、1000未満の分子量を有する、請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 成分(a)がホルムアルデヒドを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 成分(b)がポリアルキレンポリアミンである、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 成分(b)が、3〜8個の窒素原子を有するポリエチレンポリアミンである、請求項5に記載の使用。
- 成分(c)が、パラ位で一置換されているアルキル置換フェノールである、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 成分(c)がC12アルキル置換基を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 性能向上添加剤が、式:
の分子を含み、式中、各Rは、置換されていてもよいアルキル基から独立して選択され、各Rは同一又は異なっていてもよく、R’は、アルデヒド成分(a)の残基であり、nは0〜4であり、mは1〜6であり、pは1〜12である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の使用。 - 性能向上添加剤が、式:
の分子をさらに含み、式中、各Rは、置換されていてもよいアルキル基から独立して選択され、各Rは同一又は異なっていてもよく、R’は、アルデヒド成分(a)の残基であり、nは0〜4であり、mは1〜6であり、pは1〜10である、請求項9に記載の使用。 - 性能向上添加剤が、式:
の分子を含み、式中、各Rは、置換されていてもよいアルキル基から独立して選択され、各Rは同一又は異なっていてもよく、R’は、アルデヒド成分(a)の残基であり、nは0〜4であり、mは1〜6であり、pは1〜10である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の使用。 - 性能向上添加剤が、ディーゼル燃料組成物中に0.01〜100ppmの量で存在する、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の使用。
- ディーゼル燃料組成物が、窒素含有洗浄剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の使用。
