Abstract
【解決手段】面状照明装置10は、導光板15と、基板12と、光源14と、第1固定部材16と、第2固定部材17とを備える。導光板15は、側面15aと主面15bとを有し、側面15aから入射される光を主面15bから出射する。基板12は、導光板15の主面15bと略平行に配置される。光源14は、基板上において導光板15の側面15aに対向して設けられ、側面15aに入射される光を発する発光面を有する。第1固定部材16は、導光板15と基板12との間に配置され、導光板15を基板12に固定する。第2固定部材17は、導光板15に対して第1固定部材16とは反対側に配置され、導光板15を光源14に固定する。

Description
まずは、面状照明装置10の概要について、図1を用いて説明する。図1は、実施形態に係る面状照明装置10の外観の一例を示す上面図である。図1に示すように、実施形態に係る面状照明装置10は、遮光シート30で覆われていない出射領域である有効エリア40から光を出射する。すなわち、遮光シート30により、有効エリア40が規定される。
つづいて、面状照明装置10の詳細な構成について、図2〜図5を参照しながら説明する。図2は、実施形態に係る面状照明装置10の構成を説明するための断面斜視図である。なお、図2では、FPC12、はんだ13、LED14、導光板15および第2固定部材17以外の図示を省略している。
次に、図6〜図9を参照しながら、実施形態の各種変形例について説明する。図6は、実施形態の変形例1に係る面状照明装置10の断面図であり、実施形態の図5に対応する図面である。
Claims (9)
- 側面と主面とを有し、前記側面から入射される光を前記主面から出射する導光板と、
前記導光板の前記主面と略平行に配置される基板と、
前記基板上において前記導光板の前記側面に対向して設けられ、前記側面に入射される光を発する発光面を有する光源と、
前記導光板と前記基板との間に配置され、前記導光板を前記基板に固定する第1固定部材と、
前記導光板に対して前記第1固定部材とは反対側に配置され、前記導光板を前記光源に固定する第2固定部材と、
を備える、面状照明装置。 - 前記第2固定部材は、前記光源と前記導光板とに接着される接着層を有し、
前記接着層は、前記光源の前記発光面に対して、当該発光面から光が出射される側を除いた領域に設けられる、
請求項1に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記光源は、前記基板上に複数配列され、
前記接着層は、隣接する光源間において、一方の光源の前記発光面の端部から、当該端部に隣接する、他方の光源の前記発光面の端部に跨って設けられる、
請求項2に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記光源の前記発光面に対して、当該発光面から光が出射される側を覆うように配置される遮光部材をさらに備える、
請求項2または3に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記主面を覆うように配置される拡散シートをさらに備え、
前記遮光部材は、前記拡散シートに設けられる、
請求項4に記載の面状照明装置。 - 前記第2固定部材は、基材と前記接着層とを有し、
前記遮光部材は、前記基材において前記接着層とは反対側の面に設けられる、

前記接着層は、前記遮光部材において前記導光板側の面に設けられる、

前記プリズムシートの端部は、前記遮光部材に重なっている、
